I am in a bit of a quandary when it comes to where I get my music from. On the one hand, using Zune Marketplace would seem to be natural now that I have a Windows Phone. On the other hand, iTunes dominates, is DRM free, and anything I buy in iTunes plays just fine on my WP7, including music videos.

Then there’s the fact that many artists often do things exclusively with iTunes or they do them there first, like today’s release of The Killers’ annual Christmas song Boots. It’s a (RED) release, so exclusive to iTunes.

For now, I’ll probably stick with purchasing music from iTunes. I honestly don’t use my phone as a source of music enough to warrant a Zune Pass and I really don’t buy that much music anyway. Quandary solved (for now)!
